Blooming Path Behavioral Services is owned and operated by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). With every session delivered by a BCBA with graduate-level training, Blooming Path Behavioral Services ensures precision, responsiveness, and a sophisticated understanding of behavior and learning. Every aspect of services reflects clinical expertise and a BCBA-led approach provides families with consistent, high-quality, evidence-based services. This hands-on leadership ensures that each child’s progress is guided by the highest standard of professional knowledge.
Every goal is intentional, meaningful, and connected to real-life success. I focus on teaching skills that empower independence, confidence, and long-term growth—not just checking boxes. Goals are carefully selected to what matters most for your child and family.
I lead with empathy, dignity, and respect—ensuring every client and family feels understood, valued, and safe in my care. Building trust and connection is at the heart of the work I do.
I empower clients and families with the tools, confidence, and knowledge they need to make meaningful choices, advocate for themselves, and take an active role in the learning process.
I work hand-in-hand with families, educators, and community partners to ensure every client’s support system is aligned, informed, and empowered. Collaboration creates consistency, and consistency is what drives sustainable growth.
I create a welcoming environment where every identity, culture, communication style, and lived experience is honored. My approach embraces neurodiversity and centers each person’s unique strengths and ways of being.
I see every client’s potential first, not their challenges. I celebrate what each client can do, and use their strengths as the foundation for growth. Focusing on strengths helps clients feel empowered, capable, and motivated.
Hi, I'm Renee Johnsson, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who owns and operates Blooming Path Behavioral Services. I’ve had the privilege of working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for over seven years, with autistic individuals, aged 2-19. I have supported my clients within their homes, schools, clinics, daycares, and communities. I feel strongly that meaningful services happen in the environment that best supports the individual’s needs.
After many years in the field, I decided to branch out on my own to address gaps I saw in how services were delivered. I wanted to create a company that truly meets the needs of the families I serve, listens carefully to the autistic community, and allows me to give my very best to each individual I work with.
I’m deeply passionate about supporting meaningful progress through assent-based, trauma-informed, and naturalistic teaching. I provide direct services myself, ensuring that every program is guided by clinical expertise and tailored to each child’s strengths and interests.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog, exercising, reading, binging a new show, and baking. On some occasions, you might find me trying to hike a mountain!
